Uniball - Space Age Hockey For the Multiplayer Masses

UniBall is a highly addictive multiplayer internet game. The game involves piloting a space ship around, trying to intercept and shoot a ball at a target. It is basically hockey in space in its simplest form. The targets are either glowing nets like a soccer game, or round bounce targets which ping the ball off at high speed after a goal is scored. The action is fast and furious and you need to have quick reflexes and skills to help out your team. Most maps have 2 teams - red and blue, although up to four teams can play. Each team has to score goals until they reach the target score (usually 10) and are declared the winners. Individuals gain points in all sorts of ways, from scoring to assisting to passing.

There is also another game type called "dodgeball". In this mode, the purpose is to shoot as many of the opposite coloured team with your own colour balls as you can. These games can get hectic with a lot of people online! Most people play the hockey style game, but dodgeball has its fans too.

Another way of playing, which wasn't intended when the game was made, is Racing. This is purely trying to navigate a course before everyone else and this can be great fun with a bunch of people. Smashing someone into a wall at a crucial turn can really bug the crap out of them ;)

A new version of classic Uniball (2d version) has been released! Uniball3D is still compatible, you just have to edit the servers.txt to include the new server. Either edit the old Texas line, or create a new line with a new name.

Uniball has changed IP addresses and Uniball-Central is back up. The new IP address for BRChat and the game server is 66.98.136.51.
I havn't had much time to work on Uniball3D lately, due to other projects, such as my Worms3D website for the Team17 competition. There is a newer version partly done, however I want to add a few more things before releasing it.

Kicking off the first day of July with a brand new site design! This was a long time coming but its finally done!
